Oberg Industries is seeking skilled Wire EDM Operators who thrive in a high-precision, hands-on manufacturing environment. This position is located in Sarver, PA, and we are hiring for both day and night shifts. 20% shift differential is paid for working the night shift.

What You Will Do as a Wirecut Operator:
- Operate Wire Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) to produce precision components.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic wire-EDM functions, including removing slugs from workpieces.
- Run multiple machines simultaneously and plan workloads to maximize unattended operations.
- Plan workloads to maximize unattended machine operations and production efficiency.
- Locate, diagnose, and correct problems in equipment and systems using testing tools and prior experience.
- Comply with all company quality system standards, safety, and security procedures.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to our Team:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Strong written, verbal, or other forms of communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Ability to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
- Ability to stand, sit, stool, kneel or work in bent positions for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with control and unassisted.
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior machining or wire EDM experience a plus.
