Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, programming, and setup of new products to meet customer specifications.
- Collaborate on fixture design concepts to support laser marking of complex and multi-part products.
- Create clear setup instructions and templates to guide technicians during production.
- Maintain organized file structures and ensure compliance with validated laser marking parameters.
- Set up and operate laser marking equipment to meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
- Consistently produce quality parts within established cycle times and production targets.
- Perform daily equipment checks and preventative maintenance on laser marking systems.
- Perform part inspections in support of the quality department.
- Use precision measuring tools accurately and follow calibration requirements.
- Adhere to verification system guidelines and quality documentation standards.
- Complete secondary operations as needed, including glass bead blasting, hand deburring, and product washing.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong understanding of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship or ability to comply with U.S. export regulations.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including wearing PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, safety shoes).
- For Aerospace Final Inspection roles: Must pass company eye exam (with correction if needed).
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in related discipline required.
