Material Handler

This is a daylight shift, entry-level position with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the company.

What You’ll Do:
- Read work orders or take verbal direction to move materials efficiently.
- Inspect, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Load/unload materials by hand or using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Accurately count, weigh, and document quantities of materials moved or handled.
- Transport items between workstations or storage areas.
- Track inventory and enter data using basic computer systems.
- Operate forklifts and hoists (license/training provided).
- Assemble crates and perform light packaging.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces.
What You Bring:
- Ability to follow instructions and work orders.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
- Comfortable working on your feet and using hands/tools.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 35 lbs. with control and unassisted).
- Raise arms above shoulders and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to wear PPE (safety glasses, ear protection, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Work Environment:
This role often requires lifting and securing heavy materials and may involve working near moving machinery and exposure to varying weather conditions.
